1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the findr website and services. By accessing or using findr, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

findr is a marketplace that connects people who need services (“customers”) with independent professionals (“pros”). We do not provide the services listed on the platform ourselves — we facilitate introductions and provide tools to help both parties agree on work.

2. Using findr

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use findr. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account or posting a job.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Posting jobs

Customers may post jobs by describing the work required. Job posts must be truthful, lawful, and not misleading. We reserve the right to remove any job post that violates these terms or that we reasonably consider inappropriate.

A small fee may apply to publish a job. This fee is displayed before posting and is non-refundable once the job is live.

4. Professional accounts and leads

Pros can create a profile, set their services and service area, and respond to matching jobs. Pros are independent contractors, not employees or agents of findr.

Pros may need to purchase credits or pay a fee to unlock customer contact details for jobs they choose to quote on. Fees are shown clearly before purchase and are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Payments and refunds

Payments processed through findr are handled by our third-party payment provider. By making a payment, you agree to their terms as well as ours.

Any refunds are at our discretion and will be issued to the original payment method where possible. Disputes between customers and pros should be raised with us in writing.

6. Reviews and content

Users may leave reviews and upload content. You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant findr a licence to display it on the platform.

Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. We may remove reviews that are fake, defamatory, offensive, or otherwise breach these terms.

7. Liability

findr is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or completion of any work arranged between customers and pros. We recommend that users verify credentials, obtain quotes in writing, and agree clear terms before work begins.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of findr is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have breached these terms, acted fraudulently, or otherwise misused the platform. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of findr after changes means you accept the updated terms.
